Launched in 2015, @Bar London - The Brown Beauty Boutique is growing to become the leading destination for the discovery and purchase of independent hair and beauty brands aimed at the Woman of Colour.


Do you have an actual store?

No. We are based solely online at present.


What is so special about the brands and products available through @Bar London?

All brands and products available online have been through a rigorous selection process and are currently sold through our store. We guarantee that they have all been through this selection process before being sold online so as to ensure they are independent, cutting-edge and of the highest manufacturing quality.


Why have I not heard of lots of the brands you sell?

We aim to scout out and nurture the very best independent beauty brands from around the world. Our ethos is to find the next big thing and help our trend-setting consumers buy into these brands at the early stages of their careers.


Do the brands you sell produce their collections in factories in less developed countries?

Most manufacturing of items sold through @Bar London is done in the UK, Europe or USA by the producer themselves or under their close supervision. If not, we encourage our brands to only use local artisans from the country of origin and using traditional methods.


Where do you ship to, and how much does delivery cost?

Worldwide delivery via Royal Mail is absolutely FREE for orders over £50. Otherwise postage is charged at £3.95 for first class and £2.95 for second class UK Only. Our shipping rate for Europe is £7.90 and the rest of the world between £8.99 and £14.40. All parcels are sent via Royal Mail.


Can I return an order if I change my mind?

Just contact us within 14 days and we will arrange this for you. For more information visit our Terms & Conditions page.


What are your payment options, and can I pay using my own currency?

You can pay via PayPal. We accept payment in £GBP.


How will my product be packaged?

All orders arrive beautifully wrapped in quality packaging and placed in a shopping bag exactly the same as if you were buying it from our store. Your bag will then be securely placed into our shipping boxes / courier packs.


Do I need to sign for my order?

Yes. For added security all deliveries require a signature. Please try and have the order delivered to an address where someone will be available to accept delivery during normal working hours, such as an office.
